This lot contains items of questionable authenticity that may be of post-WWII manufacture. We encourage interested parties to examine items in this lot closely and in person, if possible. Preview times are available upon request. 1) 1st CLASS IRON CROSS. A nice example of a 1st Class Iron Cross with a magnetic center. The reverse has a wide pin, and the cross is engraved “SS – Schafhr. Hans Siebert 2./Kradsschutz am Batallion Der Fuhrer 10. 5. 1941”. (02-22516/BF). 2) ANTI-PARTISAN BADGE. A nicely detailed example of a WWII German Anti-Partisan Badge featuring oak leaves surrounding four serpents coiled about a sword with a skull at the base. The reverse is unmarked with a narrow pin. Accompanying this badge is a small stickpin with a miniature Anti-Partisan Badge. (02-22519/BF). 3) TANK DESTRUCTION BADGE. This scarce badge was issued to recognize the single-handed destruction of an enemy tank. The badge has black-bordered silver bullion tape with a darkened metal tank in the center.
