1) KNIGHTS TEMPLAR. Overall length: 38 1/4". Blade length: 30”. Blade is etched with various fraternal and foliate motifs, including a personalized panel that reads “Joseph J Meighan”. Gilded hilt with a white composite grip. Heavily gilded scabbard with enamel highlights. CONDITION: sword generally shows light wear, with minor damage to the enamel on the scabbard. 2) KNIGHTS TEMPLAR. Overall length: 37 3/4". Blade length: 28”. Blade is etched with various fraternal and foliate motifs, including a panel personalized to “Raymond Buntz”. Blade is marked near the hilt, “THE PETTIBONE BROS. MFG. CO CINCINNATI O.” Silvered brass hilt with white composite grip. Silvered scabbard with red enamel highlights. Scabbard is also personalized to “Raymond Buntz”. CONDITION: sword generally shows light wear overall. 3) ODD FELLOWS. Overall length: 35 1/2". Blade length: 27 3/4". Blade is etched with various fraternal and foliate motifs and is marked near the hilt, “Made by the M.C. Lilley & Co Columbus, O.” Gilded brass hilt. Wire-wrapped leather grip. Gilded brass-mounted, plated scabbard. CONDITION: sword shows light wear. Hilt is a bit loose. Scabbard has peppery oxidation. 4) KNIGHTS TEMPLAR. Overall length: 35 3/8”. Blade length: 28 3/8”. Blade is etched with various masonic and fraternal devices with ample scrollwork. A 5” panel on the blade is etched “H. Curtis”. Blade is etched near the ricasso “E.A. ARMSTRONG DETROIT. MICH.” Silvered brass hilt. Black wooden grip with an inset cross. Silvered, brass-mounted metal scabbard with black enameled body. CONDITION: blade has a mottled patina. Hilt shows moderate wear with a missing chain guard. Scabbard is missing the drag and has notable losses to the black enamel finish. (02-22800-4/BF). $300-500.
