ROBINSON . EXTRA RICH . “. Full straight shank. CONDITION: button retains nearly all of its original gilded finish.
2) A rare example of a Civil War era coat button worn by cadets at VMI. Albert # SU-408-TYPE. Face depicts the Virginia State seal & the motto, “SIC SEMPER TYRANNIS” surrounded by the words, “CADET V.M.I”. The reverse is marked, “FIRMIN & SONS . LONDON . “. Full straight shank. CONDITION: button retains much of its original gilded finish.
