TOMAHAWK HEADS.
These tomahawks are expertly made reproductions of 18th & 19th century Native American tomahawks mostly with pipe bowls & stems.
1) Pipe tomahawk has a 9 1/2" iron head with a 16" haft. The diamond shaped head has a curl above & below the blade. The bowl is elongated with a raised ridge at the top & bottom. The haft is brass tack decorated.
2) Pipe tomahawk has a 12 1/4" iron head with a 24" haft. The diamond shaped head has a curl above & below the blade & a cutout part in the center. The bowl is elongated with raised ridges at the top & bottom. The haft is heavily brass tack decorated.
3) Pipe tomahawk has an 8 3/4" iron head with a 19" haft. The classically shaped head has a heart cutout at the center. The bowl is elongated with a raised ridge at the top & bottom and central incised band. The haft is brass tack decorated at the top & bottom.
4) Tomahawk has a 5 5/8" brass head with an 18 1/4" haft. The classically shaped head has a heart cutout in the center. Although this tomahawk is shaped like a pipe tomahawk, it is not functional as such. Haft has leather whipping & brass tack decoration.
5) Iron tomahawk head measures 6 5/8" in length with a 2 1/4" bit & a round eye.
6) Iron tomahawk head measures 6" in length with a 1 1/2" bit & a round eye.
CONDITION: all tomahawks & heads show oxidation to the iron & brass. Hafts show quite a bit of enhanced wear. (02-17810/BF). $500-700.
