1) CAVALRY. An assembled M1881 cavalry helmet with an orange/yellow plume. The plume holder, base, eagle & side buttons all have a pleasing brass patina mixed with traces of original gilding. Although the aiguilette guides should be present, they have not been mounted on this helmet. CONDITION: helmet has a few dents to the body and is a bit dirty. 2) ARTILLERY. An assembled M1881 Artillery spike helmet. The spike, base, eagle & side buttons all have a pleasing patina with substantial original gilding remaining.
