1) KNIGHTS TEMPLAR SWORD. Overall length: 39 1/4". Blade length: 30". Blade is etched over 2/3 of its length w/ various foliate & Templar motifs. Ricasso is etched, “J.R. PETTIS & CO. TROY. N.Y.”. Silver plated hilt w/ Templar motifs. Certifiably antique ivory grip w/ Templar insignia applied. Silver plated scabbard w/ Templar themed mounts. CONDITION: blade shows evidence of sharpening & has a somewhat dark patina. Hilt retains some areas of original plating. Grip has very tiny age cracks. Scabbard shows overall expected wear w/ some loss of plating. (02-15111/BF). 2) MOVIE PROP SWORD. Overall length: 34 1/2". Blade length: 28". Plain blade. Brass crossguard & knight’s head pommel. Wood grip. No scabbard. CONDITION: blade has a dark patina. Crossguard & pommel have been heavily cleaned. Wood grip shows wear & staining. Consignor states this was a movie prop sword. (02-15122/BF). 3) M1902 OFFICER'S SABER. Overall length: 36". Blade length: 30". Blade is etched over 2/3 of its length w/ various military & foliate motifs including a central panel etched w/ the name, “John W. Owens”. Plated hilt. Formed composite grip. Plated scabbard. CONDITION: blade has a pleasing finish. Hilt & scabbard show light wear w/ some minor bubbling to the scabbard surface. (02-15123/BF). 4) REPRODUCTION CONFEDERATE SWORD. Overall length: 39 1/4". Blade length: 33 1/2". Blade has a shallow, unstopped fuller & is stamped at the ricasso, “NASHVILLE PLOW WORKS” on 1 side & “CS1862” on the other. Brass hilt. Backstrap is engraved, “Lt. A.N. GA. 1864”. Wire wrapped leather grip. No scabbard. CONDITION: a heavily aged reproduction sword w/ oxidation on the blade, a deep patina on the hilt & aging to the grip. (02-15126/BF). $500-700.
