1) M35. A good example of a WWII German Wehrmacht double decal M35 helmet. Helmet has a dark gray/green-painted finish with a Wehrmacht decal on the left and a national decal on the right. The interior left is stamped "N.S. 64" and the interior rear is stamped "D255". No chinstrap. Light brown leather 8-tongue liner, stamped "57". CONDITION: helmet was likely repainted during its useful life and retains 90% of that finish. Wehrmacht decal is approx. 85%; national decal is about 80%. Liner shows light wear and remains quite solid. 2) M42. A good example of a German M42 helmet with a repainted field green finish featuring a party decal on the left side and an SS decal on the right. Both decals appear to have been added in the post-WWII period. The interior rear of the helmet is stamped "NS63" over "D439". There is no liner or chinstrap, but the original band is intact. CONDITION: helmet finish is approx. 95%. Decals are 100%. 3) POLICE. A good example of a WWII German civic police helmet with a black-painted finish. Helmet has two 7-hole vents on each side and features a police decal on the left and a party decal on the right. This example once had a comb on the top that was permanently removed. Black leather chinstrap with a brown leather liner and crown. The interior of the helmet is stamped "(logo) D.R.P. _HALE A". CONDITION: helmet finish is approx. 85%. Party decal is 85%; police decal is 95%. 4) AFRIKA CORPS. A tan canvas Afrika Corps pith helmet with a brown leather chinstrap and brown leather sewn edge reinforcement. There is a Wehrmacht eagle on a shield on the left side and a national colors shield on the right side. Brown leather sweatband with red interior. The vent is marked "WERNER PAUSE & CO * BERLIN * ". CONDITION: there is some minor staining and discoloration to the body of the helmet. The helmet is structurally sound, and there is no notable damage. (02-22734-7/BF). $1,200-1,500.
