This lot includes 1 good example of an Italian M1871 Vetterli Vitali bayonet, scabbard, frog, and over-the-shoulder sling. This large 25 1/2" bayonet is numbered "P4227" on the crossguard and has a two-piece composite grip with the characteristic large spring on the side. Bayonet scabbard is missing its tip, but the frog and over-the-shoulder sling are complete. / 1 WWII-era Japanese Arisaka bayonet and scabbard, produced by National Denki under Kokura supervision. / 1 WWII-era Japanese Arisaka bayonet and scabbard, produced by an unknown company under Kokura supervision. / 1 British P1913 bayonet and scabbard. Blade has numerous proof marks on the ricasso, along with "1913 11 16" and "REMINGTON (in a circle)". / 1 British MKII spike bayonet with no scabbard. CONDITION: all bayonets show light to moderate wear with no damage, except as noted above. (02-22686-2/BF). $400-600.
