This lot consists of 2 WWI Prussian spike helmets in poor condition. These two helmets are useful only for parts. / 1 WWII M40 single-decal Wehrmacht helmet. Helmet has a dark gray-green painted finish with a single Wehrmacht decal on the left side. The interior left is stamped "ET64" and the interior rear is stamped "394". Tan 8-finger leather liner with full dark leather chinstrap. / 1 Field police shako. This example has a green felt-covered body with brown leather trim. There is an aluminum police eagle stitched to the front with a complete brown leather chinstrap. There is no cockade on the front of the helmet. The interior tan leather liner is complete. There is an illegible yellow ink-stamped maker’s mark on the interior crown. / 1 Luftschutz gladiator-style helmet with a deep blue-painted finish. There is a large Luftschutz decal on the front of the helmet. The interior shows a tan 6-finger leather liner with black chinstrap, and there is a decal mark on the interior rear of the helmet. CONDITION: spike helmets are in relic condition. Army helmet shows moderate wear, with the decal 60% present; liner and chinstrap are solid. Shako shows light overall wear. Luftschutz helmet generally shows light wear; decal is about 90%. (02-22799-4/BF). $800-1,200.
