1) II with a plain blade marked "MADE IN GERMANY". Brass hilt of standard form with an odd cord wrapped leather grip. No scabbard. CONDITION: rough, the blade has a dark patina as does the hilt. 2) Civil War era Cavalry Officer's sword measuring 39" overall with an etched 31 1/2" blade marked "HORSTMANN BROS & CO." & "NEW YORK". Etching includes various military, patriotic, and foliate motifs. Brass hilt of classic 2-branch form with a wire wrapped shark skin grip and a small attached sword knot. Iron scabbard. CONDITION: blade has significant oxidation obscuring much of the etching. Hilt has a dark patina and the grip is heavily worn. Knot is rough. Scabbard shows an overall oxidized finish. 3) A child or young cadet sized US M1860 style Staff & Field Officer's sword measuring 26 1/2" overall with a plain 22" blade. M1860 style hilt with an eagle on the guard. Grip appears to be cast integral with the hilt but is wrapped with wire. No scabbard. CONDITION: 4) US M1860 Staff & Field Officer's sword measuring 37 1/2" overall with a plain unmarked 29" diamond cross section blade. Hilt has a non-functional folding guard and a wire wrapped shark skin grip. Brass mounted steel scabbard. CONDITION: blade has a gray mottled patina, and the hilt has a dark mustard patina. Grip shows light wear, and the scabbard has oxidation. 5) 1 WWII Japanese Army dress sword measuring 38" overall with a plain 30 3/4" blade showing a faux hamon, Gilded brass hilt with a wire wrapped composite grip. Black enameled steel scabbard. CONDITION: blade has a light gray mottled patina. Hilt shows wear with a trace of gold plating remaining. Grip has light wear and the scabbard retains 70% original finish. 6) US M1835 socket bayonet measuring 21 1/8" overall. It is marked " JA " on the flat. No scabbard. CONDITION: overall dark patina. (02-25420/BF). NON-GUN. $600-900.
