This fine lot consists of 1 Army battle flag, measuring approx. 24" x 35". Standard battle flag design with reinforced edges. The hoist is marked "REICHSKRIEGSFAHNE" and "1942 60X90". / 1 Party flag, measuring approx. 22" x 28", featuring a printed black party symbol on a sewn white circular disc, all on a red field. / 1 Large RAD pennant, measuring approx. 52" at the fly and 88 1/2" to the point. Pennant features a printed RAD symbol for female members on a printed white circular disc, all on a red field. / 1 Beautifully made Frauenschaft pennant, measuring approx. 23 1/2" x 37". The edges of the pennant have white twisted cord. One side shows lettering embroidered in gold-colored thread, and the central party symbol is embroidered in bright red thread, exemplifying the Frauenschaft motif. The other side of the pennant is of standard party form with a sewn black tape party symbol on a sewn white circular disc, all on a red field. / 1 Large Naval battle flag of standard motif with reinforced stitching. The heavy hoist has iron spring clips on either end, and the hoist is marked with a Kriegsmarine eagle and the words "Reichskriegst 200-335" with a partially visible mark that appears to read "Br___mer Fannalsa___ ____ & Co Berlin". UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: a certificate dated "5/25/45" that gives permission for Private John Dunne to ship back to the United States from his post in Germany, "German banners". CONDITION: generally, the flags and pennants show light wear. The Naval flag shows moderate wear with some staining and discoloration, particularly to the hoist. (02-22967-8/BF). $800-1,200.
