This lot consists of 1 / WWII era Italian Youth Organization, or GIL, dagger. The overall length is 11 1/2" and the blade length is 6 3/8". Gilded brass eagle head hilt with wire wrapped, black painted wood grip. Leather scabbard. 1 / WWI period Italian Carcano Brescia bayonet remanufactured into a formidable fighting knife. Overall length is 15 1/2' with a blade length of 8 3/8". Clear plastic grips with a shortened original scabbard and a canvas/leather frog. 1 / Chilean M1895 Mauser bayonet & scabbard. 15 1/2" overall with a 10" blade marked "WEYERSBERG KIRSCHBAUM & CO SOLINGEN". The other side of the blade has a Chilean crest and a 3 circle mark likely of the Krupp works. 1 / Yugoslavian M1924 short bayonet & scabbard measuring 15 3/4" overall with a blued finish. 1 / British No. 9 Mark 1 bayonet & scabbard measuring 11" overall, plus a green cotton web frog. 1 / Japanese Arisaka bayonet & scabbard from Howa Jyuko under Nagoya supervision. Bayonet's overall length is 20 3/4". CONDITION: Japanese, Chilean and Italian show moderate wear, and the others show light wear. (02-24500-5/BF). $400-600.
