1) WEYERSBERG KIRSCHBAUM & CO ARGENTINE 1909 ARTILLERY SHORT SWORD. Mfg. in Solingen and carrying the Argentine crest with Modelo Argentino 1909 on reverse of makers marking. Serial number on the S shaped guard matches the all metal scabbard. CONDITION: overall fair. Blade has scattered oxidation and scuffing. Guard and pommel have a dark old oxidized patina. The grips are good with a some wear, handling marks and a couple of dings. Scabbard finish is mostly faded with oxidation present.2) WEYERSBERG KIRSCHBAUM & CO ARGENTINE M1875 BAYO FOR REMINGTON ROLLING BLOCK RIFLES. Ground crest and partially impacting the model marking. Republic of Argentina marked pommel. Aluminum grip panels with iron pommel and guard. Blued steel scabbard with matching serial number. CONDITION: overall good with some mottled old oxidation on the blade. Light freckling on iron parts. Scabbard has some lightly thinning finish with freckled spots of oxidation and light scuffs. 3) WEYERSBERG KIRSCHBAUM & CO CHILEAN M1895 MAUSER BAYO. Chilean shield located on the ricasso opposite of the makers marking. CONDITION: overall fair. Blade has scattered freckling and rub marks. Guard and pommel has similar freckling. Grips have wear and dings. Scabbard has flaking added black enamel paint with some dents and handling marks. 4) MAUSER EXPORT BAYO. The markings on this bayo have been polished to the point that they are illegible. Accompanied by an unmarked steel scabbard. CONDITION: overall poor with some oxidation on the polished blade. Heavily worn grip scales. Scabbard throat is loose and finish is heavily worn with dents. 5) WEYERSBERG KIRSCHBAUM & CO M1898/05 PIONEER SAWBACK BAYO. Pioneer troops were the only soldiers to receive this variation of the German sawback bayonets. The spine carries Wilhelm II's cipher. CONDITION: overall poor. All metal components have a heavy oxidation present. Grips have heavy wear. Scabbard is rough from poor storage. 6) WEYERSBERG DANISH M1867 FIRST MODEL BAYO FOR ROLLINGBLOCK RIFLES. Double unit marked guard. Steel mounted leather scabbard. CONDITION: overall good. Blade has minor light freckling. Guard and pommel have a dark oxidized patina. Grips have wear and scattered handling marks. Scabbard has scattered scuffs and scratches to the leather, some separating stitching and a patinaed oxidation on the steel mounts. 7) FRENCH M1892 SECOND PATTERN. Wooden grip variation held with 2 rivets. This is a second pattern with longer muzzle ring extending slightly behind the handle. CONDITION: overall fair. Blade is good with some light freckled oxidation spots and rubbing. Pommel & guard have moderate old patinaed oxidation. Grips are worn with scattered light handling marks. Scabbard finish is worn with freckled oxidation. 8) WILKINSON PATTERN 1907 MARK 1 SMLE BAYONET. This example is the without quillon example that were heavily produced for the British SMLE. Includes a steel mounted leather scabbard with rounded top drag. CONDITION: overall good. Blade shows some scabbard rub with blued finish remaining in the protected areas. Guard, grip scales and pommel have scattered handling marks and dings. Scabbard leather has some scuffs and scratches with crazing. Mounts have some scattered dings and dents. (02-26173/ZAL).
