1) FRENCH. A French WWII-style Adrian helmet with a dull field green-painted finish. Helmet has an attached comb at the top. The front plate is a flaming bomb with "RF" at the bottom and three stars at the top. Brown leather chinstrap. Dark brown sweatband with light brown 6-tongue liner. CONDITION: helmet generally shows light wear overall. 2) RUSSIAN. A WWII-style Russian helmet, painted white with red bars and a red star for wear by Soviet military police. The interior maintains its original green finish and has a paint-finished 3-pad liner with a canvas chinstrap. CONDITION: paint is approx. 90%. Liner and chinstrap remain strong. 3) US. An M1917 US "doughboy"-style helmet with a sanded dark green finish and the insignia of the 36th Division painted on the front. Partial liner and no chinstrap. CONDITION: helmet finish is approx. 85%. Painted 36th Division insignia is a bit light but easily discernible. Liner shows moderate wear. 4) US. A rear seam, swivel bail US M1 helmet of the post-WWII period. Helmet has a camouflage cover and correct post-WWII liner with attached chinstrap. CONDITION: helmet shows light wear and is quite solid. Cover has some separations and shows moderate wear. Chinstrap has a few thread-bare areas. 5) SWEDISH. A pre-WWII Swedish helmet with a dark field green-painted finish. Helmet has a blue and yellow Swedish decal on both sides, along with a metal shield front plate with three crowns. Interior shows a leather 3-pad liner and full chinstrap. CONDITION: helmet finish is approx. 90%. Liner and chinstrap are quite solid. 6) EAST GERMAN. A post-WWII East German helmet with a gray/green-painted finish. The interior features a leather liner and 4-contact leather chinstrap. There is foam padding at the front and rear of the helmet. CONDITION: helmet shows light wear overall. 7) JAPANESE. A WWII period Japanese pith helmet with a cotton 6-section, sewn exterior with a gold star sewn to the front. The interior has a cotton tape liner with a sewn cotton chinstrap. There are two interior sewn labels that both have numerous Japanese characters. CONDITION: helmet shows light to moderate wear overall with no significant damage. (02-22734-8/BF). $500-700.
