This lot includes 1 WWII-era Mauser K98 bayonet, serial numbered "4880," with no scabbard. / 1 WWII-era Mauser K98 bayonet, serial numbered "2577," with a matching scabbard and leather frog. / 1 German M1898\05 bayonet and iron scabbard. This bayonet has been sharpened. / 1 German M1916 Ersatz bayonet, as pictured in Jansen's bayonet book on page 93, No. 1. This bayonet and scabbard are heavily oxidized. / 1 WWII German Wehrmacht dress bayonet by Robert Klaas with black enameled scabbard and black leather frog. / 1 HJ knife, marked on the blade "(logo) SOLINGEN." Two-piece black composite grip with damaged black, red, and white enamel HJ diamond on the front. Black enameled sheath with integral leather belt loop. / 1 German youth knife, marked "(logo) OTHELLO SOLINGEN GERMANY" on the ricasso. Two-piece black composite grip with red and white plastic diamond on the front grip. No sheath. / 1 HJ knife, in relic condition, with a broken guard, one black composite grip, and one wooden grip. Metal sheath with leather belt loop. Knife and sheath have heavy oxidation throughout. / 1 US Krag Jorgensen bayonet, measuring 16 1/4" overall, with the ricasso marked "US" and "1898." Two-piece wooden grip. No scabbard. CONDITION: generally, these edged weapons show moderate wear with oxidation. Heavier wear is noted above. (02-23420/BF). $600-750.
