This interesting lot contains 3 knives measuring approx. 13" in length that fit into one 3-slot sheath. The curved knives have blades about 8 1/4" long with what appear to be Arabic symbols etched into the blade. The hilt is wood and measures approx. 4 1/2". / 1 Far East knife resembling a tanto, measuring 10 1/2", with a plain blade. The grip and sheath are engraved bone featuring three Asian people with numerous geometric and decorative designs. / 1 Straight-blade knife measuring 10 1/2" with a carved wooden grip. / 2 Straight-blade knives measuring 8 3/4", with bone and brass washer grips and matching leather sheaths. / 1 Moroccan-type koumya, measuring 10 3/4" overall, with a carved wood, bone, and antler grip. The curved 5 3/4" blade has lightly engraved decorative symbols. The sheath has a repousse-decorated brass covering. / 1 Small Moroccan-type koumya measuring 8 1/2" overall, with a small, nearly straight 4 1/2" blade. The hilt and sheath are silver-plated and have similar decorative motifs. CONDITION: knives generally show moderate wear. Larger koumya shows heavy wear, as does the larger straight-blade knife.
