This group consists of 2 M1871 style militia shakos for the Kentish Guard. Each shako has a 6-pointed star on the front with "KG" on the center. / 1 US M1902 visor cap with white & blue band. No cap plate. / 1 Militia pillbox hat with a small blue silver bullion bordered shield on the front baring the letters "VC". / 1 Circa 1900 GAR cap with gold & silver bullion GAR wreath on the front. Black crown with black mohair band. Gilded bullion chinstrap. / 1 Circa 1900 Rhode Island Militia cap with no insignia. Side buttons are of a Rhode Island style. / 1 Late 19th century blue wool kepi with a bullion wreath on the front surrounding the number 23. There is a late brass bordered corps badge for the 1st division of the 6th corps attached to the crown of the kepi. / 1 Indian War era blue wool kepi with small crossed sabers on the front below the letter A. / 1 Late 19th century blue wool kepi with a bullion wreath on the front surrounding the number 31. Crown of the kepi has M1872 crossed sabers attached. / 1 WWII era campaign hat with a light blue hat cord but no other insignia. / 2 M1902 Rhode Island Militia hats with bullion anchor & shield front plate and bullion chinstrap. / 1 College freshman blue & white beanie. CONDITION: generally hats show light to moderate wear. Most wool hats show some degree of moth damage, a few have severe moth damage. (02-18137/BF). $600-900.
