SEMI-AUTOMATIC PISTOL WITH REPRODUCTION HOLSTER. Cal. 9mm Para. S# 2773g. Bbl. 4". Standard configuration P.08 Luger semi-automatic pistol, mfg. by DWM in 1916. The bbl. extension is marked "1916" over the chamber, with DWM arsenal proofs stamped on the right. Bbl. extension, bbl., and breechblock exhibit an Imperial German Reichsadler. Toggle is marked with the intertwined "DWM" monogram. Major metal components exhibit a rust blue finish, with some smaller components exhibiting either a straw or nitre blue finish. Frame is mounted with 2-piece checkered wood grips. Blade front sight with V-notch rear sight. All serialized parts are matching and include the frame, takedown lever, sideplate, trigger, safety lever & bar, hold-open latch, bbl., bbl. extension, trigger bar, breechblock, extractor, firing pin, toggles, grips, as well as the mag. MAGS: one 8-rd. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: reproduction black leather holster. CONDITION: metal components retain the majority of their original rust blue finish, exhibiting areas of wear and thinning that show through to gray and brown patinas, with scattered spots of light surface oxidation and some pitting present overall. Strawed components exhibit varying degrees of wear, with all exhibiting some pitting and spots of age-related discoloration. Bright bore, exhibiting scattered spots of light to mild pitting, while retaining strong rifling throughout. Grips show some smoothing, as well as some scattered marks from handling and storage, but are otherwise very good overall. Reproduction holster is very good overall. (24-4066/MLW).
