Cal. 45 ACP. S# 3922. In 1927, an Argentine Commission negotiated a contract with Colt for 10,00 Government Model pistols. Mfg. July 1927- Feb. 1928 as the Pistola Sistema Colt Modelo Argentino 1927". Matching numbers on slide, 5" barrel & on frame under mainspring housing. Visible "RA" inspection proof on frame, slide, & barrel. 1911A1 Profile & controls with fully checkered walnut grips. Colt VP proof & "513" stamped under left grip. MAGS: 1 two tone 7 rd. CONDITION: Forward right side portion of slide appears to have old arsenal cleaning & touch up finish with 1 noticeable dent. Remaining balance of frame & slide have fair coverage of original blue finish shows large areas worn to gray/brown patina, scattered areas of cleaned pitting, along with scattered scratches, marks & dings. Hammer appears replacement having parkerized finish. Grips show good finish with some flattened diamonds & a sm. gouge. Good barrel blue. Fair bore with frosting & worn rifling. (25-3454/MD).
