PISTOL WITH STYROFOAM BOX INSERT. Cal. 9mm Luger. S# 07-156778. Bbl. 4 5/8". High Power semi-automatic pistol mfg. in Argentina by FMAP "DM" (Military Portable Weapons Factory "Domingo Matheu") under license from FN. The left side of the slide is marked "FABRICA MILITAR DE ARMAS PORTATILES "D.M" ROSARIO/ D.F.G.M." above "LICENCIA F.N. BROWNING" and "INDUSTRIA ARGENTINA". Left side of the frame is marked with an "INTER AMERICAN SACTO CA" import mark. Metal components exhibit a matte black finish (applied over a phosphate finish) overall, save for on the 2-piece bbl., which is polished in-the-white. Frame is mounted with 2-piece checkered black synthetic grips, with a lanyard ring present on the left. Slide features an external extractor, with a fixed half-moon blade front sight, and dovetailed U-notch rear sight. All serialized parts are matching in the "stacked" fashion, and include the frame, slide, and bbl. MAGS: 1 phosphate 13-rd., with black enamel finished button type floorplate. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: FM (Fabricaciones Militares) styrofoam box insert. CONDITION: metal components retain the vast majority of their matte black finish, exhibiting some scattered superficial handling marks and a few spots of minor flaking overall. Front sight exhibits wear through to gray patina along the upper edge. Brilliant mirror bore, exhibiting well defined rifling throughout. Grips are very good to excellent overall. Styrofoam insert shows wear and scattered marks from handling and storage, but otherwise remains sturdy and serviceable. PROVENANCE: The Estate Collection of Charles Wagner. (25-378/MLW).
