Cal. 45 ACP. S# 10-1015. Bbl. 6". The ZX 10A1 is an American made version of the popular British Sterling SMG manufactured by P.A.W.S. (Police Automatic Weapon Service) of Salem, Oregon, w/ production beginning in the mid-1970s. The ZX10A1 is a pistol design chambered in 45 ACP, utilizing a modified Uzi magazine for feeding. Finish is very similar in aesthetics to the original black wrinkle paint. Protected post front sight & single aperture rear peep sight. Rear end cap has a ring that coincides w/ an identical ring on the front left side for sling mounting. Magazine feeds horizontally from the left side. Safety located on left side above pistol grip. Overall length of 16.75". MAGS: 1 original 10 rd. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: Factory box, takedown tool & paperwork. CONDITION: All aspects indicate very little use, if any. No obvious blemishing. Finish wear on areas of mechanical intervention remains minimal. Magwell still retains original factory warning sticker. Bore is bright w/ strong rifling. Fire control mechanism appears to function correctly when cycled by hand. PROVENANCE: from The Lifelong Collection of Terrence McCarty. (24-412/JZ). MODERN. $600-800.
