Cal. 9mm Luger. S# 881321. Bbl. 16". The Wilkinson Arms Terry was originally designed in 1960 by Ray Wilkinson of J&R Engineering. Originally having a more typical numerical model designation, after J&R closed up & Ray started the business again, as Wilkinson Arms they were named after his wife & daughters. This particular model, the Terry Carbine is a closed bolt, blowback operated design built on a semi-tubular receiver. It is fed through the pistol grip w/ a double stack, single feed magazine w/ a comfortable, tilted angle, unlike the Uzi, which presents at 90 degrees to the bolt. The muzzle is terminated w/ a 3-prong flash hider & a cone, similar to that used w/ the earlier M2 Carbine. Barrel is retained w/ a simple nut, making takedown for transport fast & easy. Protected blade front sight. Fixed, protected peep rear sight. Short blond hardwood forend matches the attractive blond hardwood shoulder stock. Black plastic checkered grip panels. The Terry is charged w/ a left side mounted, reciprocating charging handle. Ejection port on right side has a spring loaded, folding dust cover that opens automatically upon firing. Left side of receiver marked; "WILKINSON ARMS / MODEL TERRY 9MM LUGER / PARMA, ID" as well as serial number. MAGS: 1 factory 31 rd. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: Factory box & paperwork. CONDITION: All aspects indicate this gun remains as new in box w/ no sign of prior use. Finish & furniture unblemished. Stock still retains factory assembly sticker & paperwork sleeve still attached to trigger guard. Gun was unassembled in the box upon arrival to catalog. Magazine remains in original factory wrap. Bright bore w/ strong rifling. Fire control mechanism appears to function correctly when cycled by hand. PROVENANCE: Lifelong Collection of Terrence McCarty. (24-302/JZ). MODERN. $600-900.
