ACCESSORIES. Cal. 9x19mm Parabellum. S# 3093a. Bbl. 7 7/8". LP.08 semi-automatic pistol assembled from a variety of components. The bbl. extension is marked "1917" over the chamber, with what appear to be Erfurt arsenal acceptance proofs stamped on the right. Toggle is marked with the intertwined "DWM" monogram. Right side of frame bears a mostly obliterated import marking. Breechblock, and toggles are from a 1920 Commercial Luger, with the rear sight having been ground off. Firing pin does not fit properly. Bbl. and 2-piece checkered wood grips are contemporary replacements. Frame, sideplate, and bbl. extension have been heavily cleaned. No matching numbers present. MAGS: 1 8-rd with reproduction wood bottom. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: 2 reproduction LP.08 pattern holsters and flat board shoulder stocks. CONDITION: Frame, sideplate, and bbl. extension retain traces of their blue finish, with the balance exhibiting gray and brown patinas, with scattered spots of pitting present overall. Contemporary bbl. shows a few handling marks, but is otherwise very good overall. Mirror bore, exhibiting strong rifling throughout. Grips are very good overall. Reproduction holsters and stocks are very good overall. (24-1270/MLW). MODERN. $1,000-1,500.
