Cal. 9x19mm Parabellum. S# 8980e. Bbl. 8". LP.08 semi-automatic pistol assembled from a variety of parts from both the Imperial and World War II eras. Mauser frame with distinctive "hump back", Imperial era bbl., bbl. extension, and toggles. Top of bbl. extension is marked "1917", with DWM acceptance proofs stamped on the right. Toggle is marked with the intertwined "DWM" monogram. Bbl. and bbl. extension exhibit a rust blue finish, with the frame exhibiting and frame small parts exhibiting a salt blue finish. Breechblock and toggles exhibit a reapplied blue finish. Frame is mounted with 2-piece checkered wood grips. Matching numbers on frame are present on the frame and the safety lever/bar. Bbl., bbl. extension, and rear sight assembly match themselves. Rear toggle pin's rim has broken off and is no longer present. Front sight blade has been shaved down. MAGS: 1 contemporary production 8-rd. wood bottom mag. CONDITION: metal components exhibit varying degrees of wear, with most exhibiting wear, thinning, and scattered marks from handling and storage overall.
