This lot consists of the following bayonets & knives: 1) US Marked Ross 1908 bayonet. Pommel has Ross Rifle Co. & what appear to be Canadian unit markings. Bright blade. Hardwood handles with "US (Flaming Bomb)" markings. Scabbard with leather frog & cover. Scabbard also has "(Flaming bomb) US" marking. CONDITION: grips have some lightly carved letters, scattered light dings & handling wear. Blade shows scattered light oxidation. Pommel & crossguard are a dull gray patina with some light oxidation, edge wear & light dings. Scabbard shows scattered crazing, flaking & some chipping. 2) US M1 Bayonet. Blade has PAL markings & 1943 date. Parkerized finish. Grooved black grips. Green US marked scabbard. CONDITION: grips show a loose fit, some staining,dings & handling marks. Parkerized parts show scattered edge wear most notable on blade, scattered fading & oxidation. Scabbard shows oxidation on metal parts & scattered scuffing. 3) US M1 Bayonet. Blade has PAL & 1942 markings. Metal parts of bayonet have reapplied chrome finish. Grooved black handles with replacement hex nut. USN MK1 green scabbard. CONDITION: grips show scattered dings & handling wear. Metal parts of bayonet show scattered flaking, finished over pitting & some oxidation. Scabbard shows some cracking, chipping & scuffing. 4) British P1913 Bayonet. Remington made & 5-17 dated P1913 bayonet. Grooved hardwood handles. Leather scabbard. CONDITION: grips show some green paint splatter, scattered dings, flaking & handling wear. Metal parts of bayonet show scattered fading, green paint splatter & oxidation. 5) US M1917 Bayonet. Remington made US M1917 bayonet. Grooved hardwood handles. Leather scabbard. CONDITION: grips show scattered dings & handling wear. Metal shows scattered fading, edge wear & oxidation. Scabbard shows scattered flaking & crazing. 6) US M1892 Bayonet. 1902 dated M1892 bayonet. Metal appears to have been nickel plated. Walnut grip panels. Foreign replacement leather scabbard with brass furniture. CONDITION: grips show scattered dings & handling marks. Metal shows scattered light flaking & oxidation. Scabbard shows overall flaking. 7) US M4 Bayonet. Utica made M4 bayonet with leather grips. BM Co. M8 scabbard. CONDITION: grips show scattered flaking , dings & handling wear. Metal parts of bayonet show overall edge wear, scattered fading to gray & oxidation. Scabbard shows scattered flaking & some chipping. 8) M7 Bayonet. BOC made M7 bayonet with black checkered grips. M8A1 scabbard. CONDITION: grips show some staining & checkering wear. Metal parts of bayonet show some edge wear & fading. Metal parts of scabbard have added black paint. Scabbard & frog show some flaking & staining. 9) PAL RH-36 Knife. Blade has very faint RH-36 & PAL markings. Leather wrapped handles. Leather scabbard. CONDITION: grips show scattered dings, staining & handling wear. blade appears cleaned with scattered oxidation & some light pitting. Pommel is a gray patina with oxidation & dings. Scabbard shows overall crazing & some flaking. 10) US M1905 Bayonet. 1942 dated UC M1905 bayonet. Parkerized finish. Grooved black grips. M8 Spare barrel canvas scabbard. CONDITION: grips show scattered dings & handling wear. Metal parts of bayonet show scattered edge wear, fading & oxidation staining. Scabbard has an added ink name at top & scattered staining. 11) M1905 Bayonet. 1942 dated UFH M1905 bayonet. Parkerized finish. Grooved black handles. Green "US" marked scabbard. CONDITION: grips show scattered handling wear. Blade shows scattered edge wear. Pommel & scabbard are a silvery-gray color with pitting & oxidation. Scabbard has added ink name at rear "A. VALENTINE". Scabbard otherwise shows some chipping & scuffing. 12) US 1892 Bayonet. 1900 dated M1892 US Bayonet. Walnut grip panels. Scabbard with swivel belt hook.
