This lot consists of the following bayonets: 1) Spanish S84/98 Bayonet. Unmarked blade. Crossguard marked "P.R.8" on one side & "2775" on other. Blued finish. hardwood handles. Unmarked blued scabbard present. CONDITION: grips show a few grain cracks, dings & handling wear. Metal parts & scabbard retain strong amounts of arsenal blue finish with scattered oxidation. 2) Swiss M1914 Sawback Bayonet. Blade marked "HS". Crossguard numbered "64686". Bright finished metal. Hardwood grip panels. Blued scabbard. CONDITION: grips show some handling marks & staining. Metal parts of bayonet show scattered oxidation. Scabbard shows scattered silvering & oxidation. 3) Argentine 1909 Bayonet. Argentine 1909 bayonet numbered "C05716". Crest intact on blade. Brightly finished metal. Walnut grip panels. Blued matching numbered scabbard. CONDITION: grip panels show some staining, handling wear & dings. Metal parts of bayonet remain mostly bright with some scattered light oxidation & cosmoline. Scabbard shows a couple patches of pitting with some edge wear & light oxidation. 4) Argentine 1909 Bayonet. Argentine 1909 bayonet numbered "F6075" & made by Weyersberg. Brightly finished bayonet. Walnut grip panels. Matching numbered blued scabbard & leather frog. CONDITION: grips show some dings & handling wear. Metal parts remain mostly bright with some oxidation & dried grease. Frog shows some crazing, flaking & staining. Scabbard shows some oxidation & edge wear. 5) Spanish CETME Bayonet. Spanish CETME/FR8 bayonet with scabbard & canvas frog. Blade has factory crest. Parkerized finish. Checkered black grips. CONDITION: grips show heavy handling wear & dirt staining. Metal parts of bayonet show scattered fading to gray & oxidation. Scabbard shows some scuffing & flaking. 6) Spanish 1916 Sword Bayonet. Blade marked "P.R.8./1378". No scabbard or grip handles present. CONDITION: metal is an overall gray oxidized & pitted patina. 7) Unknown Socket Bayonet. Top of socket appears to be marked "1855-4761" Left side of socket has swivel. Blade measures 19 14" in length. Socket measures 2 5/8" in length. No scabbard present. CODNTIION: bayonet is an overall gray patina with scattered oxidation & pitting. 8) AKM Type II Bayonet. Orange handle AKM II bayonet that appears to be of Com-Bloc mfg. Crossguard has electropencil number "2843". Bright blade. Orange scabbard numbered "9592" & with Izhevsk marking. CONDITION: grips show scattered dings, flaking & handling wear. Blade remains bright with some light oxidation. Scabbard shows scattered flaking & staining. (02-23073-6/MJC). $200-400 for lot.
