Cal. 60. NSN. Bbl. 41" oct. to rnd., fitted w/ U-notch rear, & blade brass front sights. Lock w/ flat plate having rebated tail is fitted w/ serpentine cock, unbridled friction frizzen & feather spring w/ spear finial. Kentucky style stock of curly maple, extends to w/ in 3" of muzzle & has short brass cap. Stock is pinned to bbl. & brass mounted w/ shotgun type buttplate, trigger guard w/ acorn finial & long sideplate. Steel ramrod w/ button head mts. through two beaded brass pipes & matching thimble. CONDITION: good. Iron parts nearly all dark brown patina w/ scattered overall pitting. Stock has fine hand worn patina at grip & fore piece, the balance w/ old dry finish. Brass is toned to brown. Ramrod pipes & thimble show considerable wear & losses. Dark rough bore. Lock is operable. PROVENANCE: The Estate Collection of Gary Parietti. (01-19308/MGM). ANTIQUE. $800-1,200.
