Water table has May 1934 & Sept. 1949 German Nitro proofs. Scalloped boxlock action w/ Greener style safety, side clips, cocking indicators, dbl. triggers, extractors & top tang bbl. selector. Receiver has semi relief engraving of wood scenes featuring Elk & doe on left side, 2 boars on right side w/ corresponding quails. Action is highlighted w/ floral & scroll engraving that extends to the bolsters & triggerguard bow. Walnut forearm w/ matching numbered Deeley release. Pistol grip walnut stock w/ striking burl figure, scalloped grip cap, swivel & cartridge trap. LOP: 13 1/4" to black composite buttplate. DAC: 1 1/2". DAH: 2 1/4". CAST: slight cast in. MEASUREMENTS: Bore Diameter: R- .656, .656. L - Choke Constriction: R - .019, L - .019. WEIGHT: 7.47 LBS. CONDITION: very good bbl. blue showing light marks & pinprick patina. Bright finish action w/ verdigris on cocking indicators, white paint spots, & epoxy filler. Wood has been sanded, gloss finished, & recheckered having a very good appearance. Cartridge trap installed w/ white paint spots & epoxy filler. Bright shiny bores w/ scattered sm. dents on shotgun bores, light fouling around choke areas, & strong rifling. (23-2155/MD).
