SHOTGUN. Cal. 12 Ga., 2 3/4". S# 68317. Bbls. 28". Mfg. by Aguirre Y Aranzabal of Eibar, Spain, and imported by Sears, Roebuck & Co. in the 1950s, competing against the Winchester Model 21 shotgun. The barrels are marked "FULL" and "MOD." Matted rib has bright bead. Boxlock action has single, non-selective triggers, ejectors, and tang safety. All visible numbers match. Walnut beavertail forearm has push-button release and point pattern wrap-around checkering. Pistol grip walnut stock has point pattern checkering on wrist and the AYA grip cap. LOP: 14 1/4 to JC Higgins buttplate. DAC: 1 1/2". DAH: 2 3/4". WEIGHT: 7 lbs., 2 oz. CONDITION: very good blue, showing scratches and marks on the receiver. Very good wood finish with impressions, light marks, and light mildew on left side of buttstock. Bright, shiny bores with light fouling. (24-2881/MD). CURIO. $300-500.
