RIFLE WITH CASE. Cal. 22 LR. S# 4T96203. Bbl. 19 3/8". SA-22 Grade II manufactured by FN in Belgium and imported/retailed by Browning Arms Company in 1964. The top of the barrel is marked with Browning's importer information above "MADE IN BELGIUM", with the caliber designation stamped on the left side at the breech. The left side of the receiver features an engraved scene of 2 prairie dogs with foliate motifs. Right exhibits matching foliate motifs with a scene of 2 squirrels. Top with engraved scene of a duck between 2 foliate motifs. Polished receiver with gold plated trigger and blued barrel. Checkered wood buttstock with grooved steel buttplate, and checkered wood forend. Barrel is mounted with a Redfield 4x scope. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: Browning leatherette case. CONDITION: extremely fine, with metal components retaining bountiful amounts of their original factory finishes overall. Left side of receiver shows some spots of discoloration, with some light wear on the trigger from operation of the action. Brilliant mirror bore, exhibiting well defined rifling throughout. Wood furniture is excellent, exhibiting few superficial marks from handling and storage. Scope retains a clear and sharp optic.
