SEMI-AUTOMATIC PISTOL WITH SOFT CASE. Cal. 9mm Luger. S# T272518. Bbl. 4 5/8". High Power semi-automatic pistol mfg. in Belgium by Fabrique Nationale and imported by Browning Arms Company, circa. 1969. The left side of the slide is marked with Browning Arms' importer information above "MADE IN BELGIUM", with the right side of the forward trigger guard web and bbl. exhibiting a Belgian commercial proof. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall, save for on the bbl., which is polished in-the-white. Frame is mounted with 2-piece checkered wood grips, which feature red anti-moisture barrier paint on the interior of the panels. Dovetailed blade front sight, with V-notch tangent rear sight, graduated 50-500. MAGS: 1 13-rd. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: black leather Browning soft case. CONDITION: metal components retain bountiful amounts of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting a few light superficial handling marks, with a small concentrated area of cleaned mild pitting present on the right side of the slide. Mirror bore, exhibiting some grease in the grooves, while retaining well defined rifling throughout. Grips are very good overall. Soft case shows some light wear from handling and storage, but otherwise remains sturdy and serviceable. PROVENANCE: the Estate Collection of Charles Wagner. (25-263/MLW). CURIO. $500-1,000.
