This military style revolver has an unusual action for loading & unloading: rotate the triggerguard lever counterclockwise, & push the bbl. latch forward to release bbl. from frame, further pushing the bbl. lever forward to actuate the extractor. Oct. 5 3/4" bbl. w/ rib having sighting groove. Right side of bbl. marked "L6340". 6 Shot cyl. 2 Piece checkered wood grips w/ assembly mark " II ". Inside grip frame stamped w/ marker's stamps "LN" & "ES". Lanyard ring at butt. CONDITION: bbl. & cyl. have good coverage of bright blue mixed w/ brown patina having light edge wear, pinprick oxidation & scratches. Frame has good dull blue mixing w/ brown/gray patina & pinprick oxidation. Balance of grip straps brown patina w/ light marks. Good grips w/ lightly worn checkering & numerous deep impressions. Replacement washer for lanyard ring impedes grips from proper fit. Fair bore w/ light pitting. (01-21773/MD). ANTIQUE. $2,000-3,000.
