Cal. 5.4mm. NSN. Bbl. 24 1/4". Belgian single-shot breechloading parlor rifle produced by an unknown mfg. Rifle is devoid of any markings, save for 2 Belgian proofs on the left side of the breech. One-piece checkered wood rnd. knob stock. Forearm screw and one of the trigger guard screws are contemporary replacements. Bead front sight, with V-notch rear sight. CONDITION: metal components exhibit a dark gray patina with areas of oxidation present overall. Poor dark pitted bore. Stock exhibits scattered marks and impressions from handling and storage, with a repaired crack on the right side of the wrist and a small crack present on the left. (24-5126/MLW). CURIO. $200-300.
