IN THE HENRY CLAY PATTERN. John Henry Belter (Circa 1860, New York). The stately chair with shield shape back and pronounced rose carved crest joined to open molded arms on carved supports. Centering an over-upholstered seat with serpentine front rail carved with rose buds raised on cabriole legs. SIZE: 43" h x 25" w. CONDITION: striped green and blue silk brocade fabric remains in good condition. Structurally sound frame with good color. PROVENANCE: Lifelong California Collection. (05-1008/TG). $1,000-2,000.
