CARBINE. Cal. 30-30. S# 2597176. Bbl. 20". Hooded ramp bead front sight with sporting rear sight. Tubular mag. Blue finish. Short wood band fastened walnut forearm. Straight grip walnut stock with impressed checkered steel buttplate. Rifle has all Pre-64 action features. 1 of the last Pre-64 carbines, S# indicates production in late 1963 or 1964. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: proper box with matching numbered yellow end label. Box contains instruction pamphlet, hang tag, cardboard inserts, and packing paper. CONDITION: near excellent retaining virtually all original blue. Left side of stock has superficial markings in the wood that appear to be from long term box storage. Near excellent bore. Box shows some light tattering and age related darkening. PROVENANCE: Estate of Russell Dickerman. (25-1959/DS). CURIO. $1,000-1,500.
