THREAD CHASING TOOL. 1). Interesting display of Bridgeport Gun Implements Co. tools used for reloading 50-70 cartridges. Loading tool has red painted handles, company name, "Govt" over "50" and "1185". Markings on all tools has "Gun Implements" abbreviated to "GI" and is not related to the well known Bridgeport Tool Company. Bullet mold of similar appearance and markings to the loading tool. Bullet seater more simply marked "B G I CO" and "50-GOVT". Included in the display are two cartridges using new modern brass, 5 round box of sealed ammo, cartridge components and an arrangement that makes the thumb screw primer seater appear to be part of the needed components yet it is for some cartridge that has a rim just smaller than 8 Ga. and bigger than 10 Ga. (about 1.08"). All of the foregoing mounted to red velvet back board that is surrounded by a glass topped picture frame arrangement that is in good condition with frame needing slight attention to reattach to the backer. 2). The oval framed tool is marked "LIVINGSTON" and "1859". It seems that it is a multi thread die tool with 1/2 of its largest size missing. A machine screw on the backboard appears for retaining a lock plate. The other pin's purpose is unknown. Frame and presentation are very nice. (02-24825/NW). $350-500.
