Cal. 7.62 NATO. S# A557. Bbl. 27 1/2" with Gemco import marking. Parker Hale PH5C aperture rear sight. Matching numbers on bolt & receiver. Other parts appear unnumbered. British No. 4 Enfield style target rifle similar to the L42A1 sniper rifle but without a scope. These rifles were used for British military competitions. Left side of receiver has L39A1 7.62mm & "UE.70" markings. Suncorite finish. Beech stock set with bottom mounted sling swivels. Underside of forend has vacant slot likely for a rest & underside of butt has no oiler cap. MAGS: 1-10 rd. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: article on the L39A1 rifle. CONDITION: stock set has an armorer patch repair at heel, some dings & handling marks. Metal retains 93% Suncorite finish with scattered flaking, handling marks & edge wear.
