GUN. Cal. 12 Ga., 2 1/2". S# 14389. The 30" barrels have swamped game rib & flattened bright front bead. Full & IC chokes. Water tables have EPI import proofs & Birmingham proofs of original 1900's era along with 1966 proofs indicating refurbish work before reproofing. Boxlock receiver has generous coverage of acanthus scroll engraving on sides, blued floorplate, trigger plate, triggerguard bow, fences, top of receiver, top tang & top lever. Fences showcased sculpted relief & side clips. Action features double triggers, ejectors & top tang safety with gold inlaid "SAFE". Walnut splinter forearm with ebony tip, point pattern checking & Deeley release. Walnut straight grip stock with wrap around point pattern checkering & nameplate on toeline. LOP: 13 5/8" to hard rubber buttplate. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: Red Head Leg-o-mutton case showing heavy wear. . CONDITION: barrels have re-freshened finish showing prior pitting on sides of barrels extending from muzzle. Receiver has gray patina appearance with dull bluing on triggerguard & trigger plate. Forearms appears to have original worn finish with marks in checkering. Buttstock shows light sanding & refinished with recut checkering, large cracks & grain checks are through checkering.
