WITH SHEATH. British WWI / WWII Officer knuckle knife mfg. in Sheffield, with this exact style knife pictured in "Knives of the United States Military World War II" by Michael W. Silvey. Blade is unmarked, with the knuckle duster being stamped with a boxed "SHEFFIELD". The upswept blade measures 5" from the point to the bottom of the ricasso, with an overall length of 9 1/4". Aluminum handle, with 2-piece checkered black plastic scales and integral aluminum knuckle duster. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: unmarked brown leather sheath. CONDITION: blade retains the majority of its polished finish, exhibiting some superficial handling marks overall, with a small spot of flaking present at the point on the right side. Grip scales are good, showing smoothing and some superficial handling marks. Sheath remains malleable, exhibiting some spots of age related cracking and minor crazing, primarily on the retention strap. (02-24406/MLW). $600-1,000.
