Cal. 7mm Rem Mag. S# 57610L70. Bbl. 24" sporter weight without sights. FN short extractor action with satin chrome finish & right side safety. Bolt has matching no. Receiver & bottom metal have foliate scroll hand engraving surrounding scenes that feature elk & moose on the front receiver ring. The floorplate features a standing grizzly & the trigger guard depicts a snarling mountain lion. The engraving is triple signed by Cortis, Lambert & Marachal. Gold finished trigger. Monte Carlo cheekpiece stock of gloss finished fancy walnut has the original Browning pad. Features include contrasting forend tip & grip cap with white line spacers and swivel bases. Fine hand checkering on wrist & forend is bordered by elaborate floral carving with stippled backgrounds. Weight, 8 lbs., 10 ozs. 1970 Belgium mfg. UNATTACHED ACCESORIES: Browning letter confirming Olympian grade and further stating: "sold to: / Goldstocks / COR Broadway & Franklin / Schenectady, NY 12305 / Sales Date: May 21, 1971 / Invoice Number: 058985". CONDITION: Metal retains over 99% finish. Wood finish shows a few spots of crazing. When removed from the stock the bbl. & action show no evidence of salt. Near excellent bore.
