ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 338 Win Mag. s#. 7P44305. Bbl. 24" sporter weight without sights. FN long extractor action with satin chrome finish and right side safety. Bolt is numbered to the rifle. Receiver and bottom metal have foliate scroll hand-engraving surrounding scenes that feature an elk & moose on the front receiver ring. The floorplate features a standing grizzly, and the trigger guard depicts a snarling mountain lion. The engraving is triple-signed: receiver by R. Greco, floorplate by R. Dewil, and trigger guard by J. Baerton. Gold-finished trigger. Monte Carlo cheekpiece stock of gloss-finished fancy walnut has the original Browning pad. Features include contrasting forend tip & grip cap with white line spacers and swivel bases. Fine hand-checkering on the wrist and forend is bordered by elaborate floral carving with stippled backgrounds. Weight: 8 lbs., 9.6 oz. 1967 Belgium mfg. CONDITION: Over 99% metal finish.
