TARGET RIFLE. Cal. 22 LR. S# UF3463. Bbl. 29" full floating heavy weight target barrel numbered UF3463 with recessed target crown plus 3 target blocks: at muzzle with Parker Hale globe sight having circle on post insert and 2 target scope blocks at proper 7.2" spacing. Receiver has an additional target block on top of action plus Parker Hale receiver sight with target disc having adjustable aperture. Mfg. 1959-1967 with numerous BNP proofs, takedown action and passage at rear of receiver (stock also relieved for clearance) for align cleaning of bore. Robust walnut stock set having wide forend with 3 screws on each side plus accessory rail for full length of bottom. Buttstock has bottom of grip numbered 17437, palm swell for RH shooter, left front with flat circular area (matching on right; no holes) having 2 holes from the prior installation of container for front sight inserts, Monte Carlo cheek piece with slight roll over and BSA marked white spaced black serrated buttpad. Classic target rifle that was the pride of English match shooters. CONDITION: generally very good appearance overall with numerous light handling marks throughout being most prevalent on stock set. Black aluminum accessory rail insert of forend has many use marks. Buttplate is evenly proud of stock. Near excellent bore. PROVENANCE: From the Lifetime Collection of Malcolm Zickler, Ret. USAF Lt.
