GAME GUN. Cal. 20 Ga. 2 3/4". S# 10052. (CA 1980). A new gun of this grade retails at over $35,000. This gun has 27 1/2" mono bloc barrels with narrow matted ventilated rib. Top left of mono bloc has Perazzi info. Bottom of mono bloc is stamped with 1980 Italian nitro proofs. Coin finished low profile O/U action features non automatic safety and single non selective trigger. Action is very finely engraved with nearly full coverage, well cut floral accents in a sea of small scroll which surrounds attractive Bulino game scenes. A trio of chucker partridge are on left flying away; rear member of the group has feathers flying as it has be hit by shot. Right side depicts the same scene, birds incoming, viewed so that rear bird is hit. Its head is thrown back and it is about to fall from the sky. Bottom of action shows a very fine rendering of a pointer retreiving cock pheasant. Blued top lever, trigger plate and trigger guard are engraved with flowers and scroll. Attractively marbled and figured European walnut, straight grip buttstock measures 14 1/4" over checkered wood butt. Very closely spaced point pattern checkering is at grip. Matching one piece schabel forend has Deeley type release. MEASUREMENTS: BBLS: Bore Diameter: U .625". O .625". Restriction: U .014" (Mod). O .027". (Full). Wall thickness: U .034". O .038". STOCK: DAH: 2 1/8". DAC: 1 5/16". CAST: neutral. LOP: 14 1/4" WEIGHT: 6 lb. 3 oz. CONDITION: very good to fine showing some storage issues. Metal parts retaining over 90% original factory finishes, with some areas of rusting and darkening. Action should be stripped, cleaned, repolished and revarnished. There is no galling evident on knuckle. Stocks have a good scattering of marks, some heavy on left side panel of buttstock. Checkering shows light wear. Bores are bright and shiny, mechanically fine.
