STOCK HOLSTER. A reproduction copy of an extremely early and even more scarce Model 1913 LP.08 Luger experimental stock holster, which is more reminiscent of Mauser's C96 stock holster, than the World War I adopted LP.08 Luger stock. The left side of the stock is marked with a small Mauser banner logo, with "C.S.A." above a large and poorly stamped Mauser banner logo marked on the right. Rear of lid is marked "C.S.A.". Solid wood construction, with blued steel fittings. Lug lever exhibits a straw finish. CONDITION: stock shows scattered marks from handling and storage, with a crack on the left side that runs from the top of the body to the screw beneath the strap bars, and a large crack present on the right side. Blued parts show some wear, some scattered spots of light oxidation, as well as scattered superficial marks from handling and storage. (02-24257/MLW). NON-GUN. $200-300.
