Cal. 6.5x55. S# 216295. Bbl. 29". A fine example of the well-regarded Swedish M41B Mauser sniper rifle. Swedish Mauser rifles are well regarded for their accuracy, fit, and finish. Blade front sight. Correct M/55 micrometer rear sight. Correct Ajacks 4x90 scope with post-reticle and clear optics. Scope and mount have a couple added stickers. Matching numbers on bolt parts, scope mount, and base. Other parts are mixed or unnumbered. Receiver top has Carl Gustafs marking and a 1908 date. Bolt is properly blued. Beech stock set with bottom-mounted sling swivels. Underside of the stock has a faint Swedish crown marking. Stock disc has a triangle over the "2" marking for bore condition. Cleaning rod is present. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: leather scope caps and correct scope can, numbered "23367". CONDITION: stock set appears lightly sanded, with a small crack ahead of the rear sling swivel, some dings, and handling marks. Front floorplate and scope mount screws exhibit slot damage. Metal retains 85% of the arsenal rework blue, with some fading on the exposed edges, some light freckling, and silvering. Very good, bright bore that shows some light frosting.
