Cal. 36. S# 20053. Bbl. 7 1/2" round. German silver blade front sight. Round six shot cyl. w/ naval scene engraving. Blue & case colored finish w/ silver finished grip straps. Bbl., frame, grip straps & cyl. have matching numbers. Wedge is unmarked. 1 piece walnut grip. Mfg. 1864 during the American Civil War. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: period case w/ purple velour fitted interior. Case contains powder flask, 2 cavity bullet mold, cap tin, 3 bullets & case key. Also includes 1 wrapped six round package of 36-100 seamless skin cartridges by “W.J. Symms & Bro”. CONDITION: very fine. Bbl. retains over 60% lightly faded blue showing small handling marks & areas of flaking. Cyl. finish is fading to gray & retains good scene. Frame shows small amounts of case color on sides. Grip straps show evidence of past cleaning & retain traces of silver. Grips have worn & peeling finish showing small chips at butt. Sound mechanics. Lightly pitted bore retains sound rifling.
