(Gun 1) 1851 Navy 4th model. Cal. 36. S# 198261. Bbl. 7 1/2" octagon w/ brass pin sight & New York address. Six shot round cyl. w/ naval scene roll engraving. Blue & case colored w/ silver finished brass backstrap & large round trigger guard. Bbl., frame, grip straps, cyl. & wedge having matching numbers. 1 piece walnut grip. Mfg. 1866. CONDITION: very fine. Bbl. retains 70% dull lightly worn blue showing edge & carry wear. Cyl. has a faded gray appearance w/ very good scene. Frame retains nicely visible case colors on its sides & in protected areas. Grip straps have over 70% silver finish. Original grip varnish shows edge wear. Sound mechanics. Bore has a lightly frosted appearance retaining strong rifling. (Gun 2) Civil War Civilian 1860 Army. Cal. 44. S# 102550. Bbl. 8" round w/ German silver blade sight. Six shot round rebated cyl. w/ naval scene roll engraving. Blue & case colored finish w/ silver plated brass trigger guard. Bbl., frame & grip straps have matching numbers. Cyl. is number 7128 & wedge is unnumbered. 1 piece walnut grips. Mfg. 1863. CONDITION: very fine. Bbl. & cyl. retain over 70% blue showing areas of flaking & wear. Frame retains 70% dark case colors. Trigger guard has a small amount of silver in protected areas. Original grip varnish over 90%. Sound mechanics. Bright shiny rifled bore. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: added mahogany English casing w/ vacant brass oval plate on lid. Blue baize lined interior. Case contains Colt patent powder flask, 36 & 44 cal. Colt patent 2 cavity molds, oil bottle, slotted tip cleaning rods & 2 cap tins. Also included is 1 pack each of 36-100 & 44-100 combustible envelope cartridges, each holding six rounds.
