WOGDON FLINTLOCK DUELING PISTOLS. Both Cal. 54. S#'s 318A & 318B. Bbls. 9 1/2". Blade front sights. Notch rear sights. Pair of dueling pistols made in 1976 for the US Historical Society to commemorate the infamous Burr & Hamilton duel. Locks both marked "WOGDON". Browned bbls. marked "WOGDON LONDON". Checkered walnut stocks with brass forends. Steel ramrods. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: blue velvet lined case with powder flask, key, spare trigger & matching certificate of authenticity. Case lid has 2002 dated presentation plaque. CONDITION: wood shows some light handling wear. Brass is turning to a yellow patina with light tarnishing. Other metal parts show minimal wear with some minor oxidation specks. Actions function properly when hand cycled. Very good plus bright bores. (01-27154/MJC). ANTIQUE. $1500-2250 for pair.
