BY ENFIELD WITH BAYONET. Cal. 577/450. S# 610. Bbl. 33” w/ correct proofs fitted w/ usual ladder type rear sight. Area under sight on bbl. stamped “N. S” “NEP”. 1876 Dated Martini action by Enfield has proofs matching those on bbl. Stocks are either heavily refinished or newly made for this rifle. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: correct triangular bayonet, 25” long, marked w/ Nepalese characters, as is what appears to be original scabbard. CONDITION: good, as completely refinished. Metal has most of a reblue w/ nearly all new stock finish. Brown bore w/ rifling visible throughout. Bayonet is good. (01-17357/MGM111). ANTIQUE. $300-500.
