Cal.308 S#01-02343 Bbl.22.5" over brake. Century Arms, Inc R1A1 variant of the popular FAL, nicknamed “The Right Arm of the Free World”. Parkerized receivers. Inch pattern. 11" wood handguard w/ ventilation slots and holes. Wood pistol grip and buttstock, w/ steel, trap door butt plate. Sling swivels front and rear. Protected post front sight along w/ rear peep sight adj. in elevation from 200-600 yards. Folding, black plastic carry handle. Lower receiver safety / selector marked "S-R-A" on left, & "AD6415695" on right. Right side upper receiver markings "CENTURY ARMS INC. / GEORGIA, VT / R1A1 SPORTER 308 CAL / MADE IN USA". Left side non-reciprocating charging handle. MAGS: 1 steel, 20rd Inch Pattern. CONDITION: Parkerized finish on exposed metal surfaces is complete and consistent with some thinning on high spots and in areas of mechanical intervention. Wood shoulder stock is a beautiful natural tiger stripe pattern w/ 2 custom inlets, an inch rear of the receiver. Only a few light impressions at the rear. Matching pistol grip is also a gorgeous specimen also retaining a few small impressions. Front handguards match well in color, though appear a little more traditional, with typical armory earned dings, scratches and impressions associated with use and rack wear. Bolt and carrier marked "6801426" in electric pencil. Bore is bright with strong rifling. Fire control mechanism appears to function correctly when cycled by hand. (22-2372/JZ). MODERN. $1,200-1,800
